On December 24th, 2023 at approximately 12:05 am, an Officer observed a vehicle code violation in the 400 block of East Main St. A traffic stop was conducted and the operator was identified as Ira Hyde. During the investigation, Hyde was found to be under the influence of alcohol. It was determined Hyde was under the influence to the degree he could not safely operate a motor vehicle and was arrested. Hyde was transported to Cumberland County Prison where he was processed. A preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.
