On January 2nd, 2024, at approximately 6:02 pm, the police department was dispatched to a crash at the intersection of West Main Street and York Street which just occurred. Investigation determined both vehicles were traveling westbound on West Main Street and were stopped at the red traffic signal. Upon the light turning green, Kondapaneni began turning right to travel northbound onto North York Street. A pedestrian was crossing the street prompting Kondapaneni to come to a stop to allow them to cross. Aden was following Kondapaneni and failed to react to Kondapaneni stopping. Kondapaneni’s vehicle was towed from the scene as a result of the damage it sustained during the crash.
