On December 11th, 2023, at approximately 3:22am, the police department was dispatched to the 300 block of East Main Street for a crash involving multiple vehicles. Investigation determined Pharr was driving westbound on East Main Street and fell asleep. His vehicle drifted towards the edge of the roadway and sideswiped a parked vehicle. Pharr’s vehicle continued westbound before striking a second parked vehicle. That parked vehicle was then pushed into a third parked vehicle. Extensive damage was caused to three of the vehicles which were towed from the scene. Pharr was evaluated by EMS, but did not require further medical treatment.
The Mechanicsburg Police Department was assisted on scene by the Mechanicsburg Fire Department, Penn State EMS, and Hampden Township Police Department.
