On February 21st, 2023, at approximately 10:38 pm, the victim contacted the police department about a hit and run crash which had occurred just prior to their calling. The victim who resides in the 100 block of South Chestnut Street advised they heard what sounded like a vehicle striking another vehicle outside their residence. The victim went outside and discovered their vehicle had been struck by a passing vehicle. The striking vehicle did not stop. The victim’s vehicle was parked on the west side of the street facing south. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
