On July 3rd, 2023, at approximately 8:38 am, the Police Department was dispatched to a hit and run. The victim reported they were facing northbound on North York Street just north of the intersection. A tractor and trailer combination turned left from North York Street onto West Main Street. In the process, the trailer hooked the rear bumper of the victim’s vehicle. This caused the rear bumper to be completely removed. The tractor and trailer combination continued traveling east without stopping. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
