On October 20th, 2023, at approximately 10:27 am, the police department was dispatched to the parking lot of CVS, 30 East Simpson Street, for a hit and run crash. The victim reported her vehicle was struck while parked in the lot. Surveillance footage from CVS shows a black SUV parked next to the victim back up, pull forward, then back up again before leaving the parking lot. The victim’s vehicle sustained minor damage as a result of the crash. Anyone with information about this crash is asked to contact the police department.
