On April 4th, 2021, at approximately 12:53 pm, the victim contacted the police department advising they were involved in a hit and run crash in the 1000 block of South Market Street, on Friday, 4/2. The crash occurred between 1:30 and 1:45 pm. The victim advised they were travelling northbound on South Market Street and a “big white pickup truck with out of state plates” crossed over the center line and struck the victim’s vehicle. The truck continued travelling southbound without stopping. The victim’s vehicle sustained minor damage. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
