On April 7th, 2021, at approximately 3:34 pm, the victim contacted the police department advising they received a letter from the Colorado Department of Labor and Unemployment. The letter was addressed to the victim and advised the victim had filled out a request for unemployment benefits. The letter was advising the request had been received. The victim resides in the 1st block of Edgewood Drive and did not apply for the benefits. It is unknown how their identifying information was obtained to apply for the benefits. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
