On September 11th, 2021, at approximately 2:24 pm, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of South York Street and West Simpson Street for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined there were two vehicles involved with one vehicle fleeing the scene. Investigation into the crash found Zenith was travelling northbound on South York Street. She was attempting to turn right, onto West Simpson Street. The vehicle behind her attempted to pass her on the right and her vehicle was struck as they passed. The vehicle did not stop and left the area. The vehicle was described as a small black SUV. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
