On December 10th, 2021, at approximately 8:12 am, the police department received a report of a struck vehicle parked in the 1st block of South High Street. Upon arrival officers found the struck vehicle and spoke with the victim. The victim advised they parked their vehicle sometime in the evening on 12/9. A witness in the area stated they heard a loud noise between 6:00 and 7:00 am, and believed this is when the vehicle was struck. The striking vehicle left the scene without providing information. The victim’s vehicle required towing from the scene due to the damage sustained from being struck. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
