On December 10th, 2021, at approximately 9:32 am, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of East Simpson Street and Gale Street for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined there were two vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found Moore was stopped at the stop sign on Gale Street. Moore was attempting to turn right onto East Simpson Street. Peterson was attempting to pull out of the parking lot of a business, turning left onto East Simpson Street. Both vehicles started their turn at the same time and a crash occurred as they made their respective turns. Both vehicles required towing from the scene due to the damage sustained in the crash.
