On March 16th, 2022, at approximately 6:09 pm, the police department was contacted by a witness to a hit and run crash. The witness advised they observed a vehicle back from a parking space in the 200 block of East Stouffer Alley. Upon backing up they struck a parked vehicle in the alley and left the scene. The vehicle was last seen going towards East Main Street through a parking lot. The witness advised the vehicle was a dark colored Nissan SUV. The vehicle was being operated by a female. They were able to take a picture of the striking vehicle, which is above. The registration plate appears to be from out of state, possibly a New York registration. The struck vehicle did sustain damage to it. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
