On August 6th, 2020, at approximately 7:27 am, officers became aware of a crash that occurred in the 400 block of South Arch Street. A vehicle parked there had been struck by another vehicle. This was not initially reported to the police. The owner of the striking vehicle contacted police after finding their vehicle with obvious damage in the area of East Elmwood Avenue and South Arch Street. The owner of the striking vehicle advised they had allowed Wise to drive their vehicle earlier. After an investigation into the crash and vehicle damage, it was determined Coray Wise had driven the striking vehicle. While driving the vehicle, a parked vehicle was struck in the area. This was not reported to the police by Wise who denied being involved in the crash. Multiple charges are pending against Wise. The owner of the parked vehicle was notified of the crash by police.
