On October 4th, 2021, at approximately 9:34 am, the victim contacted the police department after receiving a text message from their bank about a wire transfer. The victim informed their bank they did not authorize or attempt a wire transfer. The transfer was cancelled and the victim’s account number was changed by the bank. The victim resides in the 400 block of South High Street and it is unknown how their information was obtained.
