On October 3rd, 2021, at approximately 12:23 pm, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of South Market and Marble Streets for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined there were two vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found a vehicle being operated by Menn was stopped at the stop sign on West Marble Street facing eastbound. Menn attempted to cross over South Market Street. Upon pulling into the intersection her vehicle was struck by Smith’s vehicle which was travelling northbound. Both vehicles required towing from the scene due to the damage they sustained in the crash. Both drivers were evaluated by EMS on scene. The police department was assisted by Penn State Health EMS.
