On November 15th, 2021, at approximately 1:32 pm, the victim contacted the police department about an incident. The victim advised they received communication about an issue and the victim needed to contact “Apple Support.” The victim was provided a telephone number which was called. The victim was told they needed to provide a picture of their driver’s license. The victim sent a picture of their driver’s license to the individual they were speaking with. When the individual received the picture they began asking the victim more identifying information. The victim realized it was a scam at this point and hung up. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
