On January 4th, 2022, at approximately 9:25 am, the victim contacted the police department about a letter they received at their residence. The letter stated a change of address had been processed for the victim’s credit card account. The victim resides in the 1st block of East Main Street. The victim advised they did not have such a credit card account. They called the credit card company and advised the company of the issue. It is unknown how the victim’s identifying information was obtained to open an account. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
