On January 3rd, 2022, at approximately 11:29 am, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of South Market and Simpson Streets for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined there were two vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found Stormer was operating her vehicle westbound on East Simpson Street. Stormer advised she had the green light for her direction of traffic and entered into the intersection. Upon entering the intersection Stormer’s vehicle was struck by a a vehicle being operated by Henry. Henry advised he was travelling northbound on South Market Street. Henry advised he was in a funeral procession, had a procession flag on his vehicle and his flashers activated. Stormer’s vehicle required towing from the scene due to the damage it sustained in the crash.
