On February 10th, 2022 at approximately 10:56 am, the police department was contacted by the victim who resides in the 1st block of West Locust Street. The victim advised they attempted to file their taxes and received notification stating their information had already been used to file taxes this year. The victim did not initiate that filing. The victim does not know how their identifying information was obtained for someone to file in their name. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
