The Mechanicsburg Police Department hired two new officers on May 28th, 2023. They recently graduated the Harrisburg Area Community College Police Academy and “hit the streets” last week. Police welcomed Donovan Brady and Corbin Dodge to the police department with a swearing in ceremony. Their badges and collar brass were pinned on their uniforms by family and loved ones. They have entered into the Field Training Officer program, which will consist of being assigned to an officer for approximately four months of on the job training. During those four months they will expand upon the information they were taught in the police academy and apply it to the job of policing. Good luck to both and welcome aboard!!
