Please help congratulate Sergeant Ethan Paulus who was promoted to the rank Sergeant on July 5th. He has been with the Mechanicsburg Police Department since March of 2015. Promotion to Sergeant consists of a written test and an oral interview. The test and interview are graded separately and the candidates are given a final score based upon the results and ranked. Sergeant Paulus was chosen from the list of candidates who were eligible for promotion at the conclusion of the promotional process. Sergeant Paulus will serve a probationary period at the rank, as he is trained and acquires supervisory experience at his new position.
