On October 24th, 2022, at approximately 7:10 pm, the police department was contacted by the victim about a hit and run crash which just occurred. The driver advised they were southbound on North York Street, when a vehicle behind them attempted to pass their vehicle in the 500 block. As the vehicle was passing the victim’s vehicle, their vehicles collided. The striking vehicle did not stop and was last seen westbound on West Main Street. The striking vehicle was described as a black dual wheeled, GMC crew cab truck. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
