On November 11th, 2020, at approximately 8:47 am, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of West Main Street and North Washington Street for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officer determined the crash involved one vehicle and a pedestrian. It was determined a vehicle operated by Leone, was turning left from West Main Street onto North Washington Street. While making the turn, his vehicle struck Cashman, who was in the crosswalk, crossing North Washington Street eastbound. Leone stated he did not see Cashman. Cashman was transported to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation. Her injuries were not life threatening. The police department was assisted on scene by Geisinger EMS.
