On August 1st, 2023 at approximately 3:35 pm, the Police Department was dispatched to the 100 block of East Main Street for someone refusing to leave a residence and arguing with the Victim. The suspect left prior to Police arrival but was identified as Zavatchan. Investigation revealed Zavatchan has an active PFA issued by the Cumberland County Court of Common Please listing the Victim as the protected party. It was determined that a violation did occur. Zavatchan agreed to turn herself in and was transported to the Cumberland County Booking Center. On the same date, at approximately 9:34 pm, following her arraignment and release from prison, Zavatchan contacted the Victim by phone. It was determined a second PFA violation had occurred. Zavatchan was arrested and transported to the Cumberland County Booking Center.
