On September 28th, at approximately 6:47 pm, the Police Department was dispatched to the intersection of East Main Street and Walnut Street for a road rage incident. The victim reported they were turning onto East Main Street from South Norway Street when they stopped for a pedestrian. An approaching westbound vehicle blew their horn at the victim before they both continued westbound Once stopped at the red light at Walnut Street, the operator of the second vehicle got out and struck the victim’s vehicle several times with a tire iron before leaving the scene. Charges are pending at this time.
