On September 28th, 2023, the police department was contacted regarding a theft which occurred in the 1st block of West Simpson Street. The victim reported their credit card was used for an online purchase. The victim had left their wallet inside their vehicle. Upon receiving a fraud alert on their phone, they found their vehicle had been entered and the credit card, a reloadable Door Dash card, and a store rewards card were stolen from the wallet. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
