On April 11th, 2024, at approximately 12:22 PM, the victim reported they were the victim of a scam. Approximately one month prior, the victim saw an ad for investing on Facebook. The victim was directed to download two separate apps on his phone. After complying, the victim was instructed to deposit money from his crypto account. In total, the victim deposited $21,216.00. The victim never received a return on their investment and, through continued conversations, realized they had been scammed. The identity of the person the victim conversed with is unknown.
