On December 30th, 2021, at approximately 6:59 pm, the victim contacted the police department about someone attempting to remove a tire from the bed of their truck. The vehicle was parked in the 800 block of Darla Road at the time. The victim advised the tire is held in the pickup truck with a ratchet strap and is also chain locked. The ratchet strap had been removed, but the chain lock remained. It is believed the individual removing the ratchet strap was attempting to take the tire when they realized it was also secured with the chain lock. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
