On February 18th, 2021, at approximately 6:23 pm, the victim contacted the police department reporting a package was delivered to their apartment building in the 100 block of East Allen Street. The victim advised it was left outside the front entrance to the building. The package was taken prior to the victim retrieving it. Video surveillance in the area captured the package being taken. The officer responding recognized the individual and upon speaking with them, they admitted to doing so. Charges will be filed and a preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.
