On February 18th, 2022, at approximately 1:13 pm, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of North York Street and Heinz Road for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined there were two vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found a tractor trailer was being operated by Pandilovski southbound on North York Street. Pandilovski advised he was distracted while driving and did not stop for the red light in his direction. Pandilovski’s vehicle entered into the intersection and struck a vehicle being operated by Fake. Fake was operating his vehicle eastbound on Heinz Road and was attempting to turn left onto North York Street, when his vehicle was struck. Fake’s vehicle required towing from the scene due to the damage it sustained in the crash. The police department was assisted on scene by Hampden Township EMS.
