On September 6th, 2022, at approximately 11:25 am, the police department was dispatched to the 400 block of South York Street for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined there were three vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found Leonard was operating her vehicle southbound on South York Street. Her vehicle struck a legally parked vehicle on the west side of the street. After the impact her vehicle spun around and struck the rear end of Aschenbrenner’s vehicle. Aschenbrenner was stopped at the stop sign, at the intersection with West Marble Street. Her vehicle was in front of Leonard’s and the parked vehicle. Leonard was was transported to the hospital for further evaluations of her injuries. Leonard’s vehicle and the parked vehicle were both towed from the scene due to the damage they sustained. The police department was assisted on scene by Penn State Health EMS and the Mechanicsburg Fire Department.
