On September 6th, 2022, at approximately 10:00 am, the police department was contacted by a witness who observed a tractor trailer strike a stop sign at the intersection of East Allen and North Arch Street. The witness provided a description of the tractor trailer which left the scene. An officer driving in the area was able to locate the striking vehicle and identified the driver. The stop sign required replacement and a citation was filed against the driver.
