On September 24th, 2022, at approximately 5:43 pm, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of North York Street and Pleasantview Drive for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined there were two vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found Al Moussa was operating his vehicle east on Pleasantview Drive. He stopped his vehicle at the stop sign. Upon pulling into the intersection his vehicle was struck by a northbound vehicle being operated by Chapman. Chapman did not have a stop sign. Both drivers were checked by EMS, but Al Moussa was transported to the hospital for further evaluation of his injuries. Both vehicles required towing from the scene due to the damage they sustained in the crash. The police department was assisted on scene by Penn State Health EMS.
