On October 15th, 2022, at approximately 3:35 pm, the police department was dispatched to a crash which just occurred at the intersection of South Market and Marble Streets. Upon arrival officers determined there were two vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found Timothy was operating his van westbound on East Marble Street. After stopping for the stop sign at South Market Street, he entered into the intersection to cross over and continue on West Marble Street. Funk was operating her vehicle southbound on South Market Street. Upon Timothy’s vehicle entering into the intersection a crash occurred. Funk was transported to the hospital for further evaluation on her injuries by EMS. Both vehicles required towing due to the damage they sustained from the crash. The police department was assisted on scene by the Mechanicsburg Fire Department and Penn State Health EMS.
