On September 29th, 2020, at approximately 9:56 am, the police department was dispatched to a crash which just occurred at the intersection of West Main Street and North Point Road. Upon arrival officers discovered there were two vehicles involved. It was determined a vehicle operated by Rollins was eastbound on West Trindle Road and drove onto West Simpson Street, at the merge located there. Rollins failed to yield to a vehicle being operated by O’Brien which was travelling from North Point Road onto West Simpson Street. Both vehicles required towing from the scene due to the damage sustained in the crash. The police department was assisted on the scene by Geisinger EMS. No one was transported from the scene.
