On November 9th, 2022, at approximately 5:25 pm, the police department was dispatched to East Coover and East Marble Streets for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined the crash involved a vehicle and a bicycle. Investigation into the crash found Moore was operating her vehicle west on East Coover Street. Moore stopped at the stop sign at East Marble Street. Upon pulling into the intersection Moore’s vehicle struck a bicycle which was being operated by Byers. Byers was travelling west on East Marble Street when struck. Byers required transport to the hospital for further evaluation of his injuries. The police department was assisted on scene by Penn State Health EMS.
