On September 30th, 2020, at approximately 1:02 pm, the police department was dispatched to the 400 block of North Filbert Street for a crash involving a four-year-old child. Upon arrival it was determined the child was riding their tricycle in the street and was struck by a vehicle travelling northbound. The driver advised they did not see the child. The child was injured and was transported to the hospital by Geisinger EMS. Their injuries are considered to be non-life threatening.
