On December 22nd, 2022, at approximately 9:44 am, the police department was dispatched to the 1st block of West Simpson Street for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined there were two vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found Johnson was eastbound on West Simpson Street. A vehicle in front of his, being operated by Zeitler, was stopped for pedestrians crossing the street. Johnson was unable to stop his vehicle in the snow and struck Zeitler’s vehicle. Johnson’s vehicle required towing from the scene due to the damage it sustained in the crash.
