On March 14th, 2023, at approximately 4:57 pm, the police department was dispatched to a crash which just occurred in the 200 block of South York Street. Upon arrival officers determined there were three vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found Rodriguez was travelling southbound on South York Street. He stopped his vehicle to turn onto West Simpson Street. The driver behind Rodriguez, Bower, was slowing her vehicle when she was struck by the vehicle behind her. This vehicle, operated by Poff, struck Bower’s vehicle and pushed her vehicle into Rodriguez’s vehicle. Poff’s vehicle required towing from the scene due to the damage it sustained in the crash. The police department was assisted on scene by Penn State Health EMS.
