On May 22nd, 2023, at approximately 3:36 pm, the police department was dispatched to the 700 block of East Simpson Street for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined there were two vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found So was attempting to pull his vehicle from the parking lot of the post office to travel west on East Simpson Street. Upon pulling into the intersection So’s vehicle was struck by a vehicle travelling east on East Simpson Street in the left turn lane. This vehicle was being operated by Dravk. So’s vehicle required towing from the scene due to the damage it sustained in the crash. The police department was assisted on scene by the Mechanicsburg Fire Department.
