On October 6th, 2020, at approximately 4:41 am, the police department was dispatched to the 100 block of East Simpson Street for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined there were two vehicles involved. It was determined a vehicle operated by Connolly was travelling westbound on East Simpson Street. His vehicle struck a parked vehicle which was legally parked and facing west on East Simpson Street. Both vehicles required towing from the scene due to the damage sustained from the crash. The police department was assisted by the Mechanicsburg Fire Department.
