On October 5th, 2020, at approximately 3:51 pm, the police department was contacted by a resident advising they received a notice in the mail about being qualified for a COVID-19 benefits relief plan. The return address on the envelope which the mailing came in was “Administrative Offices – Mechanicsburg, PA 17055-2884”. The mailing was not requested by the person receiving it. The mailing was not sent out by anyone related to the Borough of Mechanicsburg. Anyone with questions can contact the Mechanicsburg Borough Office or the Mechanicsburg Police Department.
