On October 21st, 2020, at approximately 10:41 am, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of East Simpson Street and South Norway Street for a crash occurring there. Upon arrival officers determined two vehicles were involved. It was determined by officers, Kendra, was attempting to pull across East Simpson Street travelling northbound. Kendra’s vehicle was struck by an eastbound vehicle operated by Thuma. Kendra’s vehicle required towing from the scene due to damage sustained in the crash. The police department was assisted by the Mechanicsburg Fire Department and Hampden Township EMS.
