On April 23rd, 2024 at approximately 8:35 pm, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of Gale Street and East Coover Street for a two vehicle crash. Investigation determined Mohamud was traveling westbound on East Coover Street. Mohamud failed to stop for the posted stop sign and struck Bolock, who was traveling southbound on Gale Street and had the right-of-way. Mohamud’s vehicle was towed from the scene as a result of the damage it sustained.
