Traffic Crash

On February 12th, 2021, at approximately 8:10 am, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of West Main Street and West Simpson Street for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival it was determined there were two vehicles involved. Officers investigating the crash were advised a vehicle operated by Crum was westbound on West Simpson Street. Crum reported he thought he had the green light, but it was determined he did not. Upon entering into the intersection with West Main Street, Crum’s vehicle was struck by a vehicle travelling eastbound on West Main Street. This vehicle was being operated by Kenyon. After impact Kenyon was unable to exit his vehicle and had to be extricated by the fire department. He was transported to the hospital for further evaluation. Both vehicles were towed from the scene due to the damage they sustained. Officers were assisted on scene by the Mechanicsburg Fire Department and Penn State Health EMS.
