On February 19th, 2021, at approximately 9:22 pm, the police department was dispatched to the 800 block of Allendale Road for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined their was one vehicle involved. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Masland. Masland advised he was travelling southbound on Allendale Road and was attempting to avoid a vehicle travelling the other direction which was in his lane. Upon doing so, Masland advised his vehicle left the roadway. The vehicle required towing from the scene due to the damage sustained in the crash. Masland was evaluated by EMS and was transported to the hospital for further treatment. The police department was assisted at the scene by Penn State Health EMS.
