On February 20th, 2021, at approximately 1:52 pm, an officer on patrol witnessed a tractor trailer make an illegal turn at the intersection of East Main Street and North Walnut Street. The tractor trailer made a right turn from East Main Street onto North Walnut Street which is prohibited for trucks over 25 feet in length. While making its turn, the trailer struck the traffic light pole. The impact caused the traffic lights to malfunction. Two of the tires on the tractor trailer were also flattened. The driver will be cited with summary offenses related to the crash.
