On February 20th, 2021, at approximately 8:29 pm, the police department was dispatched to a crash which just occurred at the intersection of South Market Street and East Simpson Street. Upon arrival officers found two vehicles were involved in the crash. Investigation into the crash determined a juvenile operator was operating his vehicle southbound on South Market Street. The juvenile operater attempted to turn left to travel onto East Simpson Street and upon making the turn he turned into the path of a vehicle travelling northbound on South Market Street. The northbound vehicle was operated by Bushey. Both vehicles required towing from the scene due to the damage they sustained. The police department was assisted at the scene by the Mechanicsburg Fire Department and Penn State Health EMS.
