On March 20th, 2021, at approximately 7:13 pm, the police department was dispatched to East Simpson Street and South Race Street for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined there were two vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found Yung was travelling westbound on East Simpson Street. Magness was travelling in the same direction behind Yung. Yung advised he was going to turn right onto South Race Street. Due to the street being narrow, Yung took the turn wide by pulling to the left prior to starting his turn. Magness believed Yung was going to turn left and started to pass Yung on the right. The vehicles collided as Yung turned right. Yung’s vehicle required towing from the scene due to the damage it sustained in the crash.
