On March 30th, 2021, at approximately 2:37 pm, the police department was dispatched to a crash which just occurred at the intersection of North York Street and Pleasant View Drive. Upon arrival officers determined there were two vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found Swanson stopped at the stop sign on Pleasant View Drive facing eastbound. Swanson attempted to cross over North York Street and was struck by a vehicle travelling northbound operated by Coleman. Both vehicles required towing from the scene due to the damage they sustained. The police department was assisted by Penn State Health EMS.
